Hi! Don’t you love it when weekends are spent with friends and family? I do! For whatever reason, I always hit Monday feeling better when the weekend is spent socializing and with fellowship. Well, some of it at least – I love my R&R and family time with Em and Bry.
Last weekend Bryan and I hosted some friends and family for fajitas and margs for our first party (don’t picture a frat party. no, instead, imagine adults shooting the sh*t while the kids play hide and seek with rubber ducks) since Emmett was born and I’d say it was a success! We had margs, queso, delicious tequila cheesecake and, of course, FAJITAS. Bryan has always been the better cook between the two of us but I like to think that it’s just because he worked in a restaurant for longer than I did 😉 His fajitas are probably one of my favorites and they’re a hit every single time. The best part? They’re easy enough for me to make them! Below are the 3 steps to make some delicious, mouthwatering fajitas!
MOUTHWATERING FAJITAS IN 3 STEPS
- Buy good, USDA prime quality meat. If you have trouble, just ask an employee in the meat department.
- Marinate the meat in a 2-1-1 of water, soy sauce and pineapple juice for 10 to 15 minutes. This combination adds flavor and the acidity of them helps tenderize the meat.
- Throw it on the grill and cook to your liking!
