Hello! Yesterday was Easter and our family got together at Bryan’s grandparents’ house for some lunch and hangout. These days, every gathering gets a
bit LOT crazier with the new babies but they’re always so dang fun and Bry and I are extra thankful to have an expanding family. There aren’t many things that are more fun (& slightly stressful) than a house full of kids and babies running around, crying, nursing, breaking eggs, swimming and getting into any and everything! HA!
Easter isn’t about the bunnies, chocolate, eggs and pastel colored outfits though. No, what we’re celebrating is how our Savior sacrificed Himself so that you and I can live new life by presenting a need for Jesus. How amazing is that?! If you’re contemplating giving yourself to Jesus or just want to get a little closer to Him, start with some videos from one of my favorite churches in Houston – Hope City! Walmart Easter Outfit
My outfit this year was mainly from by Walmart… yes, you read that right, WALMART! I looked through my closet before Easter and just couldn’t find anything that I felt confident in with my postpartum body. I also hate the idea of spending a bunch of money on clothes that I’ll only be able to wear for a couple of weeks/months since I’m counting on losing more weight. Lately, I’ve seen a few of my fav bloggers (The Sweetest Thing, It’s All Chic To Me, Dress Up Buttercup) post about fashionable Walmart finds so I popped in to see what I could find for myself and was NOT disappointed!

Emmett was obviously having the best time taking these pictures 🙂
