Spring 2019 Beauty Essentials

Spring is by far my favorite season – I’ve gotten married in the spring, I’m about to have a baby in the spring, the weather is finally bearable and crawfish are at nearly every bar. Changes to weather and skincare come with the season for me. Although I know sun protection should always be a focus, I find myself reaching for the SPF more as the weather gets warmer – probably because I hibernate during the winter. Today, I’m bringing you all of my favorites right now – I actually have every one of these except for the Charlotte Tilbury lip gloss but believe me, it’s on my wish list!

I carry this Colorescience sunscreen powder around with me everywhere mainly because this product is so great for touch-ups throughout the day. It also has SPF so it’s great for reapplying that sun protection!

Recently, I’ve been using IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Powder after I put on my tinted moisturizer and this has worked for that extra bit of coverage. This powder is lightweight and, again, has SPF for that added protection, which I love!

I wear light.

This is what I have been using as a daytime moisturizer and base! Being a tinted moisturizer, it has super lightweight coverage.

I wear soft beige.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wand is my latest obsession for highlighters. I am loving the natural glow that it gives and the easy application – swipe, blend and done!

Concealers are always a challenge for me because I have reptile skin under my eyes. I figured out about a year ago that my under-eye area is prone to being extremely dehydrated so I have to work hard to keep it plump (coconut oil at night helps!). Maybelline’s Age Rewind concealer has done the best job for the best price and works because it blends well, isn’t drying and stays put for hours. I’m currently on my second bottle!

I wear ivory.

 RIGHT $60

This palette has all of the color I need for spring! Benefit Cosmetics has amazing products that are both easy to apply and pack a punch for pigment. My personal favorites out of this palette are the Hoola bronzer and Coralista blush.

LEFT $24

This brow pencil by Benefit Cosmetics has effortless application and is pretty much goof-proof. Seriously, if you need a brow pencil that you can be willy-nilly with or if you’re a beginning brow applicator then this is for you!

I wear shade number 4.

My Naked Cherry Palette is my go-to for a feminine look, which I’m constantly wearing in spring. Naked is known for these palettes and this is THE ONE you’ll need for this spring!

 RIGHT $22

You can’t beat Stila’s waterproof eyeliners! They go on smooth, stay on forever and don’t smudge. Need I say more??

I wear Smoky Quartz.

LEFT $34

One can never have too many nude glosses and Belle Du Soir is a perfect addition for this spring.

My favorite pop of color for this season is Light My Fire by NARS in their powermatte lip pigment line. Every time I wear this I get compliments on it!

 RIGHT $24

I bought this about a week ago and love this for a casual nude lipstick. This lipstick by Becca Cosmetics is moisturizing and gives my lips that plump look that I need and crave.

I wear dune.
