4-Day Babymoon Itinerary for Nashville!

LA SPICY GRINGA | NASHVILLE TRIP

This past weekend Bryan and I visited Nashville (or as we like to call it – the City of Patagonia and Hipster Hats) for our babymoon. If you’re unsure what a babymoon is, let me rest assured that it is NOT a vacation for us to make a baby… that deed is already done. No, instead, a babymoon is the last “YASSS, WE STILL HAVE FREEDOM & INDEPENDENCE!” before our worlds get flipped upside down with a baby.

THURSDAY

Early

Traveling ain’t easy, and it damn sure ain’t easy if your husband accidentally puts the wrong last name on your tickets because you haven’t updated your last name yet. TSA takes this very seriously, so on Thursday morning I was stuck verifying my identity and getting everything searched through (& on the way back TSA did a full pat-down). Talk about an experience at 20 weeks pregnant! On that note, this was the worst part about the trip, so I really can’t complain.

9:40 a.m.

Arrive in Nashville after hour and 56-minute flight

Get rental car from Budget (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!)

Biscuit Love for delicious biscuits and chicken

It was around this time that I dropped my phone on the sidewalk so we had to take a detour to the nearest Apple store at Green Hills Mall. They were seriously THE BEST and got us in and out within an hour or so!

1:30 p.m.

Visit Kendra Scott!

Check in at Airbnb – we stayed in an apartment with UrbanNashville. It was a studio, but so cozy and very “Nashville”!

8:00 p.m.

Dinner at Desano Pizzeria off of Music Row

Night out on Broadway

FRIDAY

10:00 a.m.

Breakfast at Marche in East End

12:00 p.m.

Visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame – this was neat and had tons of things to look at, watch and read. Bryan and I aren’t the best museum people so we basically walk through, look at the displays and watch videos.

2:00 p.m.

Coffee & donuts at Barista Parlor

3:30 p.m.

Tour shops down 12th Avenue – this is where we took pics in front of Draper James and the We Believe in Nashville wall

Night of relaxin’, binge watching Designated Survivor and eating chips

SATURDAY

9:30 a.m.

Breakfast at Pancake Pantry – holy crap, this was delicious! It’s a must. The line was long and the wait took a bit, BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT!

11:30 a.m.

Walk in Centennial Park

Trip to Love Circle – this is where we could see downtown Nashville and all of the gorgeous fall colors that Nashville has to offer

2:00 p.m.

Nutrient blast at the Juice Bar in Germantown

6:30 p.m.

Hockey game with the Nashville Predators vs. Boston Bruins – this was a spontaneous buy from the day before and were probably the most expensive tickets I’ve ever bought for nosebleeds. It was a blast though! I love watching hockey in-person and Nashville’s team is pretty damn good so I would recommend it.

10:00 p.m.

Night out on Broadway – going out after the hockey game was fun. Lots of people, lots of dancing and all kinds of music!

SUNDAY

9:00 a.m.

Scenic drive through Tennessee

9:30 a.m.

Breakfast at the Loveless Café – can’t recommend this enough! They had an hour wait, but there was plenty to do since they have 3 gift shops around the restaurant.

12:30 p.m.

Another trip to Broadway (can you tell that we love bars and live music?!)

2:00 p.m.

Dessert at NoBaked Bookie Dough – talk about a life saver for this preggo! They don’t use eggs, so everything was safe for me! Very yummy and I didn’t walk away feeling like absolute crap.

5:00 p.m.

Dinner at apartment with pizza delivered from Dolce Vita Pizza

MONDAY

11:00 a.m.

Fly out of Nashville
